Website Development
Your website might already exist - or it might need to be created from scratch. No problem. Either way, LAL Computers can work with your content. We use Adobe's DreamWeaver software to develop using industry-standard html and database connections.
Development projects typically warrant the question - what will my site look like? We work with you, your logo, your colors, your artwork to come up with something that appeals to your market. Development is typically accomplished in four phases - research, design, go live and marketing.
Phase I - Research
Expect to answer these questions during the process and to provide electronic files to your developer:
- Do you have a logo?
- Do you have a tagline?
- Who are your competitors?
- Do you have a mission statement?
- Do you have an "about us" statement written?
- What do you want your website to do?
- Are you on a deadline?
- How are you planning on marketing your site?
Phase II - Design and Assembly
We create a template - this is the outline of your site and determines the layout of your inside pages. Once this is finished, content and pages are assembled.
Phase III - Go Live
After all the pages are approved, the site is posted live and you are ready to enjoy your new site.
Phase IV - Marketing
Link to your audience database from the website so folks can sign up for the list they want to join - could be your newsletter or sales list they want to join. Could be your database is for industry news - it doesn't matter, because you'll be in charge of how your audience is defined.
